To all of you who have been voting, THANK YOU!  And please... keep it up! We haven't climbed very far, but even the little bit we've climbed was encouraging. Let's show the world what we're made of!

Someone noted that Ganji is feeling rather betrayed in today's page, and rightly so.  I'm of the opinion that the areas are grey. If she had told him who she was, would they have been friends? If they'd have been friends, how long until "fraternizing with lower ranks" would have gotten her reprimanded? Is loneliness really an excuse not to tell someone you're their boss?

 If you haven't orderd your Taus figure or put in a donation for a hat/lapel pin, time is running out!

Did you remember to vote for us today? If not, please take a moment and do so. Our dream is to get in the Top 100, but we can't do that without you!

We also put a new movie to watch up at the bottom. This time Death and War discuss Ganji among other things. Check it out.

Oh yeah. and in case you haven't noticed yet, I put up an entirely new donation system.  Basically if you donate a certain amount you'll get something in return. It goes by donation levels rather like PBS. =^-^= I dunno why; I just figured why not.

My favorite part of these is the hat pin: it's a little hat pin (or lapel pin if you prefer) design whose image you can see in the donation button.  With those I have to have a minimum amount of "orders" before I'm able to get them. Furthermore, if the idea works I'll have a new one every other month. 

I won't make any pin twice; they will always be collector's items and limited editions. Pretty sweet deal, huh?  I can't wait to get mine, so hurry up and put in your requests today.  =^-^=

 Also, Chapters 1-4 are in the works to become a graphic novel. If all goes well it will be available through Amazon.com or directly through us if you happen to see us at conventions. 

 To make it affordable, it will be in black and white. To have it in color. Amazon wants to charge way too much... although I'm thinking of perhaps having one or two in color at our con tables at a lower price somehow. I'm still working on it, so please bare with me!

Having moved things over to this new blog format today (thus having to go through a lot of old posts and clean up) I remembered all that has happened in the 2 years since Akashik was reborn from Battle of Angels.  It's just amazing.

 I met my husband through this comic and now I, Death, am married. I moved from Illinois into my very own house that has my name on the deed!!! I've been hit with a tornado, then a land hurricane, watched my teenage daughter get attitude, somehow managed to pay Conquest for some of her lettering, and War went to boot camp.

And I'm sure more changes are bound to be coming in the future.

 And on that note War just called me. Time for me to go.....

Okay.  Carolinacon kicked rear.

We had a table next to the artist from Misfile, and he turned out to be a really nice person.

Then we moved our table next to the face-painting lady.

And we were annoyingly loud to everyone in the artist alley.

And laughed a lot.

We also sold all of Issue 2, Akshik, the color version EXCEPT FOR ONLY ONE COPY.

That rocked.

I hope we can go next year.

5-22-09 - Today's page was super hard to do. I'm not sure why. Now that's it's a finished page I wonder why it was so difficult, but it was.

Imagine being a doctor, a being that values life and care of the physical and metaphysical being. And then suddenly you're... a vampire.  It appears that in Lhung's new world being a vampire is viewed a little differently from how he feels about it.

5-15-09 - And now we have more violent fun for the masses! Isn't that great?  =^-^= This page was actually a little difficult to draw, but the real reason why it's 2 hours late is because... well, I just have a lot going on from tornados in March to basement flooding to land hurricanes and, for Mother's Day, a semi-successful robbery attempt which has effectively stopped any further video reports.. being as they stole my camera. -_-

Well it was only a camera so I'm not as upset as I would have been if they had managed to get the computer. The computer is how you get Heavenly Bride!

I added a new item to the Cafe Press stop - a section with a graphic based on the cute chibis from last week - and then remembered to add the button to the navigation bar on the left-hand side of this page. Check it out.  Every little bit of support helps me to keep going. Without it, well.. I can't pay the internet bill.  That would suxor.
